Women's Health & Wellbeing Initiative
Healthier lives and stronger wellbeing for women everywhere
Advancing research that improves women's health, mental wellbeing and access to quality care across the life course.

Healthier lives and stronger wellbeing for women everywhere
Why This Matters
Women's health has long been under-researched and under-funded, leaving critical gaps in how we understand and care for half the world's population. This initiative sets out to close those gaps with rigorous, women-centred research.
We look at health across the whole life course — from adolescence through reproductive years to later life — and across the physical, mental and emotional dimensions of wellbeing that are too often treated in isolation.
By partnering with communities, clinicians and policymakers, we turn evidence into better care, fairer systems and healthier futures for women and the families and communities that depend on them.
Where We Focus

Improving prevention, support and access to care for women's mental and emotional wellbeing.
Wellbeing
Studying the everyday conditions — social, economic and relational — that let women thrive.

Advancing knowledge and equitable access to reproductive and maternal healthcare.
