Terms and Conditions for Joining the Women Research Network

Welcome to the Women Research Network (WRN). By registering as a member, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Membership Eligibility

• Membership is open to individuals with a legitimate interest in research and transformative innovation, including scholars, practitioners, entrepreneurs and students.
• Members must provide accurate and complete information during registration and promptly update any changes.

2. Conduct and Community Guidelines

• Members are expected to engage respectfully with others and contribute positively to discussions, resources, and collaborations.
• Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may lead to account suspension or termination.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

• Members retain ownership of the content they create and share but grant the network a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote content within and outside the network.
• Members agree not to share or distribute others’ content outside the platform without permission from the administrator.

4. Confidentiality and Privacy

• Members are expected to respect the confidentiality of any unpublished research, data, or sensitive information shared within the network.
• The network will take reasonable steps to protect member information, following applicable data protection laws. Members agree to use other members’ information solely for research-related purposes.

5. Collaborations and Partnerships

• Collaborations formed within the network should be mutually agreed upon, with clear expectations regarding contributions, credit, and any intellectual property resulting from joint work.
• The network is not liable for disputes arising from individual member collaborations.

6. Use of the Platform

• Members agree to use the platform solely for research, education, and knowledge-sharing purposes.
• Any unauthorized use, such as commercial solicitation, spamming, or uploading harmful content, may result in account suspension or removal.

7. Termination of Membership

• Members may terminate their membership at any time by providing written notice to the network administrator.
• The network reserves the right to terminate or suspend any member’s access if they violate these terms.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

• The network is provided on an “as-is” basis, and the network administrators do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of content shared by members.
• The network will not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.

9. Changes to Terms

• The network reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of changes, and continued use of the network constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
