My academic journey, which spans a BSc in Geology, an MBA in Strategic Energy Management, and a PhD in Geology, Geography, and Environmental Social Science, has equipped me with a solid foundation in scientific inquiry, environmental sustainability, and policy analysis. I have had the privilege of applying my expertise in industry roles at Tullow Oil plc and Baker Hughes INTEQ, where I successfully led and managed complex upstream exploration projects across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. These experiences have honed my ability to tackle real-world challenges with analytical precision and practical solutions.

I am particularly passionate about the intersection of science, technology, and innovation (STI), and its potential to catalyze positive, transformative change. In my current role as a Senior Research Fellow with the Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium (Africa Hub), I focus on leveraging STI to address some of Africa’s most pressing development challenges. My work within the consortium has reinforced my belief in the power of collaboration, research, and policy to drive sustainable growth and social progress.

In addition to my research endeavors, I am a Peer Reviewer for the American Journal of Applied Sciences, where I engage with cutting-edge research and contribute to the scholarly community. This role has strengthened my critical thinking skills and deepened my appreciation for high-quality, impactful research.
