Olamide Falehin's current research focuses on integrating trust and institutional perspectives in exploring social issues, small business dynamics, and ethnic minority entrepreneurship. She uses a mixed embedded analysis approach to investigate the experiences and impacts of minority entrepreneurs in Scotland and the Midlands. She is passionate about helping SMEs build sustainable businesses. She has demonstrated expertise in research writing, content, editing and reviewing conference papers.
In addition to her teaching and research commitments, Olamide currently holds a significant position at the University of the West of Scotland (Paisley), where she plays a key role as the PGR Doctoral College Board Representative, advocates for the needs and interests of doctoral students, aiming to improve support structures and resources for PGR students at the University.
